Manage for your company

For most of the tasks involved in managing a Here™ platform for your company, you use the Here™ Admin Console. This tool helps platform owners manage users, groups, content, permissions, and more within the Here™ platform. The subtopics in this section describe the tasks you can perform using the console, whether you’re responsible for overseeing user access, managing organizational resources, or configuring platform settings. The Admin Console consists of several pages for managing different types of entities and categories of settings.

  • Users: Add, edit, and organize users.

  • Groups: Organize users based on job roles, geography, or other organizational needs.

  • Content: Add content and configure access to it within your platform.

  • Supertabs: Configure access to collections of tabs.

  • Agents: Configure agents that connect the Here™ platform and third-party systems.

  • Application services: Manage API keys, configure roles and permissions, and define user- or group-specific settings for specific applications.

  • Admin security: Define the users who have access to the Admin Console, and their type of access.

If you are an admin, the Admin Console is available from the browser menu.

Customize branding

One management task that is handled outside of the Admin Console is applying your company's logos and platform name to the Here™ platform. Your platform name and logos must be set up for you by Here™ staff. You must tell your Here™ customer contact the platform name you want to use and provide logo image files to them.

All images must have a transparent background for the areas of the image that are not part of the symbol or wordmark.

We need the following types of images to apply your branding:

  • Symbol Logo: A square (1:1) SVG version of your logo, to display within the user interface, including tab headers. Different versions for light and dark modes are supported, but not required.

  • Wordmark: SVG version that combines your symbol logo and company name, for use in contexts where more space is available. Different versions for light and dark modes are supported, but not required. If you do not provide a wordmark image, the symbol logo image is used in all cases.

  • Taskbar logo: A PNG format version of your symbol logo, to be used in the operating system's taskbar. An image of 512 by 512 pixels is the largest size used by Microsoft Windows; it might be scaled down if needed.
